It's constructed with solid tungsten walls 2.25cm thick and yet weights* only 15.6lbs.The "T" handle on the PET Pig cap allows the unit to be easily lifted out of traditional "ammo can" delivery cases. The threaded top provides easy access to the 5cc syringe. The use of the thermos style handle reduces hand exposure by permitting the PET Pig to be carried to the imaging suite without holding container sidewalls. Prior to injection, the base unscrews, allowing the center portion to be used as a syringe shield. When placed in the optional PET Pig Cradle, patient administrations can be performed with ease and maximum shielding.

The PET Pig Cradle holds the PET Pig 5cc syringe pig/syringe shield* in place so you can unscrew the top and bottom portions. It holds the shielded syringe securely and permits easy, quick injections.

The FDG Pig and the FDG Pig Holders are made of solid tungsten. The be easily lifted out of the FDG Pig Holder without hand exposure.
The shipping bag is made of Nylon. There are two kind of shipping bag. One has built-in roller wheels and a retractable handle making it very easy to move around. Another is also available without roller wheels and a retractable handle upon request. Included in the shipping bag is protective, high-density foam compassing the FDG Pig Holder on all sides. FDG Pig is use for putting the syringe into it after dose drawing .
