| Sumitomo HM-20 Cyclotron System |
HM-20 is fixed energy isochronous
cyclotron which accelerates H minus ions to 20 MeV. The total
extracted beam current is 90 µ amp for proton beam.
This cyclotron has 8 targets and various radiochemistry systems
for labeling of PET isotopes. This cyclotron has 2 ports with
dual beam extraction capability.
Advanced control system includes start up, shut down, tuning,
data logging continuous monitoring of subsystem and interlocks. |

FDG is produced by Hamacher method using 18F- and triflate materials.
Synthesis time is < 30 Min.
The synthesis system consists of fallowing four units:
- F300E unit.

- F300E utility unit
- Vacuum pump

Sample of FDG produced in synthesis module is transferred to Auto Q.C. This reduces the radiation exposure of operator significantly. |
